1. Data controller

The controller of the data collected through Tortoise is Libélula CRM («the Owner»). You can get in touch at info@soyalexparra.com for any question related to your data.

2. What data we process

We process the data needed to provide the service:

• Account data: your email address and a password stored in encrypted form.
• Usage data: queries made, credits used, API keys and technical logs for operation and security.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details; we only keep the record of purchases (amount, date, credits).

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process your data to provide the service, manage your account, process payments, handle your requests and ensure security. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (these Terms) and, where applicable, compliance with legal obligations and the legitimate interest in the security of the service.

4. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and, after it is closed, for the legally required periods (for example, tax obligations for invoices). After that it will be deleted or anonymised.

5. Recipients and processors

We do not sell your data. To provide the service we use providers that act as data processors:

• Stripe (payment processing).
• Transactional email provider (sending service emails, such as password resets).
• Hosting provider (servers where the service runs).
• AI provider: if you turn on the AI features, the analysis is done with your own provider's key (OpenAI, DeepSeek, etc.), subject to that provider's terms and privacy policy.

6. Lead data (important)

Tortoise finds company contact details published in publicly accessible sources. Regarding that lead data, the user who collects and uses it acts as the data controller. It is the user who decides the purpose and who must comply with the applicable law (GDPR and LSSI-CE): inform the recipients, have an appropriate legal basis (usually legitimate interest in B2B), honour the rights to object and unsubscribe, and not send prohibited unsolicited communications. The Owner acts merely as the provider of the tool.

7. Your rights

You can exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, as well as withdraw your consent, by writing to info@soyalexparra.com. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data (encryption in transit via HTTPS, encrypted passwords, access control). No system is completely infallible, but we work to minimise the risks.

9. Cookies and local storage

Tortoise does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It uses the browser's local storage only for essential technical purposes: keeping you logged in and remembering your theme preference (light/dark). You can delete this data from your browser at any time.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. We will publish the changes on this page with their update date.
